METCC's Elise Howell re-vitalizes mother's song, "Christmas in Athens"

| Elise Howell, director of Mid-East Tennessee Community Chorus is reviving her mother's song, "Christmas in Athens". It was co written with Judy Sullens back in the 80's and recorded on cassette tape with Trinity Methodist Church's children's choir. Elise and the. new METCC Children's Chorus will be bringing the song into the 21st century and will premier it and the nw children's choir at the Old Fashioned Downtown Christmas. The performance will take place Dec. 6th at 4:30 p.m. on the courthouse steps. |
